The guest bathroom is rather large. As with the rest of the house it was carpeted and painted white. The fixtures were old, and the decorator medicine cabinets added such a wonderful touch. I also need to point out the tasteful shower curtain and the fluorescent light that went so well with the other ceiling light.
Of course the carpet had to go - and be replaced with the same flooring we used in the rest of the house. The cabinets were painted and the sinks replaced. We added a bathrooom fan and updated the lighting.
The replacement toilet also has a toto washlet with the remote control on the wall. Open shelves above are more interesting than the previously closed off feeling. The new medicine cabinet helps remove that odd "what were they thinking" style. Overall it is now a very functional guest bath.
